My Health Record use among specialists has spiked since it became accessible through clinical software in late 2021. Documents uploaded by specialists and viewed by other healthcare providers increased by 23 per cent in January 2022.
We’re working with local medical specialists to strengthen their role in offering integrated care for patients as they move between the primary, secondary and tertiary care sectors.
Dr Sanka Amadoru from Aria Health says “One of the biggest gaps in my practice is being able to understand what other specialists are thinking when my patient goes to see them.”
